Mission

Newington Travel Basketball is committed to providing a positive, educational, and well-rounded experience to youth basketball players through sports competition, constructive coaching and leadership, and instilling the importance of teamwork, discipline, and hard work. We strive to develop fundamental skills through active participation of our players and to promote good sportsmanship from our players, coaches, and parents.

Offered Programs

	5th-8th Grade Girls Travel Basketball: The primary objective of the Travel Basketball program is to provide a more rigorous and competitive atmosphere for those basketball players who want more than a recreation program offers.  The schedule runs from November to March with two practices per week plus 1-2 games on weekends (20 game schedule) against towns in the greater Hartford area.  The Girls' teams play in the CT Girls Basketball League (CGBL).
	5th-8th Grade Boys Travel Basketball: The primary objective of the Travel Basketball program is to provide a more rigorous and competitive atmosphere for those basketball players who want more than a recreation program offers. The schedule runs from November to March with two practices per week plus 1-2 games on weekends (20 game schedule) against towns in the greater Hartford area.  The Boys' teams play in the CT Boys Travel Basketball League (CBTBL).
	4th Grade Boys Travel Basketball: The primary objective of the Travel Basketball program is to provide a more rigorous and competitive atmosphere for those basketball players who want more than a recreation program offers. The schedule runs from November to March with one practices per week plus 1-2 games on weekends (20 game schedule) against towns in the greater Hartford area. The 4th grade league is not affiliated with the CT Boys Travel Basketball League.
